I’ve been trialling the StratumC specialist skincare regime created especially for women going through and having gone through the Menopause. To say I am in love with the range is a bit of an understatement!
After Week Two of using my Formelab specialist skincare range my skin really does feel different. Stratum C Menopause Repair Serum £49
A highly effective intense wrinkle reducing multi-peptide serum for use on existing wrinkles combined with high levels of Hyaluronic Acid and Irish Moss seaweed for hydration.
I say: I love this serum and it has definitely found its place in my favourite beauty products of all time list! Skin feels absolutely gorgeous after regular use.
Stratum C Menopause Vitality Eye Serum £54
Using naturally derived peptides extracted from rice, soya and yeast proteins, this serum boosts collagen and stimulates the blood flow around the eye to eliminate dark circles. Combined with Stratum C’s luxuriant anti-ageing ingredients, restores eyes healthy glow, replenishes key moisture and reduce existing wrinkles.
I say: Firstly, the super cool syringe packaging is a delight! But that’s not why you should try it.. After the first week, I noticed the skin around my eyes appeared brighter and most definitely less tired. Now for someone who spends a lot of time still cooped up in bed this really impressed me. After week two, I noticed the under eye area looked much firmer too. There is a real luxurious feel to the eye serum and I definitely prefer a serum to an eye cream after using this.
Stratum C Menopause Protect Cream £85
A luxurious facial day and night moisturising cream for all skin types incorporating Stratum C’s unique collagen producing peptide formula combined with the very best hydration systems using Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane combined with Vitamins A and E.
I say: I like that I can use this muscle tightening cream both day and night. Sometimes it’s easier to keep things simple. Matrixyl, Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane hydrate and moisturise the skin deep into the lower levels of the dermis. The jojoba and Apricot kernal oil which provide the Vitamin A & E make the cream really nourishing and perfect for my skin which has really suffered due to all the medication I still take. Recently, I’ve had lots of comments on how soft and radiant my skin looks, which definitely leaves me glowing inside and out!
The range itself is very comprehensive, with everything from Cleansers to Hand Cream. I was really keen to try a range that was created for women going through the menopause and those of us that have or are experiencing the changes will know how different our skin is. Stratum C is most definitely ticking all the right boxes when it comes to addressing the specific skincare concerns of menopausal and post menopausal women.
