As we leave behind the cold and grey winter. Gone with it are the days of heavy contour, Instagram brows and a solid matte lip. Instead, opt for makeup and hair that enhances, rather than conceals your natural beauty on your big day. If you fancy going against the Instagram bridal grain, here are my top tips for the perfect spring bridal look.
Barely-There Base
Instead of piling on the full coverage foundation, let your natural skin shine through with a luminescent liquid foundation for your big day. Apply concealer only to areas that need it, rather than overly painting and contouring the face.
Dewy Rose Glow
Stark highlighter is out, and a rosy glow is in. Add an illuminating pop of colour with a cream or liquid blush, rather than powder for a warm natural look.
Bronzed Eyelids
Ditch the heavy cutcrease look in lieu of bronzed gold eyelids, with a softer smoky
finish for a glowing neutral look, that compliments any eye colour.
Feline Flicks
Vavavoom.. your eyes with a sassy kitten flick. Ultra winged liner is perfect with bronzed barely there lids.
Luscious Lashes
Lashes have long been the essential enhancement to your bridal makeup and remain a strong bridal trend for 2020. Whether they are full and feathery or a few natural wisps to elongate the outer edges of your eyes, false lashes are here to stay.
Glossy Lips
A glossy tint is the perfect way to add colour to your lips without wearing an opaque lipstick. Try a red or nude tint to tie together your bridal look.
Bridal Beauty Must-Haves
Here’s my pick of the best products to help get your bridal beauty game in check. From a cellulite busting device with fabulous results and an Argan Oil infusing Hairdryer to quite possibly my favourite hair brush ever.
