This #worldmentalhealthday Just imagine how deep children like @renadfromgaza are having to dig to keep on smiling whilst living through something no child should ever have to witness. The impact this is having on their mental wellbeing is beyond comprehension. In the West we couldn’t even in our worst nightmare begin to fathom our children ever going through this hell. I have followed this little beacon of joy since last year and pray that she is still young enough for this time in her life to become a faded memory that doesn’t leave its mark on her future life.

The impact of war on anyone that lives through it must leave lasting effects, but I cannot help but think how much worse it must be on young minds.
.
We are always reminded to check in on our neighbours or friends. Every-time we interact with accounts that are sharing their stories we are doing just that. Showing them that even though we may be miles away geographically, we are with them in heart.
.
Please look after yourself and your wider community. Kindness costs absolutely nothing, but that one gesture, has a profound effect on those struggling.

I have hope that our children will have a promising future , because their leaders will come from those students standing up against corrupt and worse still, weak governments.
